A Kettering Wedding.
Here is a little bit about a wedding from earlier this year. A local wedding for a couple who had been together 27 years, since year 9 in secondary school. This pair of childhood sweethearts Kettering Wedding Photography had to be special, as both told me they were camera shy. I would need to be extra stealthy in my approach!!

Todays venue was The Kettering Park Hotel, Kettering Northamptonshire. The weather was mixed, with the group shots being a race against the fast approaching rain clouds. On my early arrival I came across the pretty normal controlled chaos every bridal prep goes through. I spent some time with the bride and her family capturing the mood and the day. I then moved to the ceremony room to meet the slightly nervous groom and his groomsmen and family. once again I blended in and captured the unfolding day. Enter the bride with her two dads! A smooth ceremony and a few emotions later the new Mr & Mrs leave, to the take the congratulations of their guests. As I mentioned the bad weather was approaching fast, so group shots were finished in record time before anyone got a soaking. The rest of the day went superbly, the groom turned out to be brave! He ribbed his best-man, about his height, before his speech, brave or possibly reckless! The weather almost held long enough for some evening portraits. The heavens opened on the last shot and I got soaked but the B&G stayed dry under my big brollies. Back to the Party and some absolute madness on the dance floor. All good fun and I soon dried out.
An awesome, slightly damp day.
At the end of the day, when I went to say my fond fair wells, the bride squeezed me so hard I thought she might of cracked a rib! Its makes it all worth it. Oh and as for needing to be extra stealthy because they were camera shy! I’ll let you be the judge of that.
